To support the students of Study Centre Circular Head, UTAS provides on-the-ground assistance in the form of a Community Learning Officer. This person is a great resource for all things UTAS and has a broad scope to assist current and potential UTAS students with a variety of university-related tasks including:
- Finding relevant information on what to study at university
- Navigating university systems
- Applying for and enrolling in university courses
- Scholarship applications
- Accessing student supports
- And much more
Your local Community Learning Officer is Danielle Stone. Danielle was born in Circular Head and grew up in regional areas of Tasmania, Northern Territory, NSW and Victoria.
Having re-located to Melbourne to undertake her undergraduate degree, and completing a second degree via remote learning, Danielle is passionate about removing barriers to education for regional learners.
Danielle can help you to connect with the right people at UTAS, as well as the right supports in our local community.
